Wow, when the Lord sends a gift, He always fills our cup to overflowing. This rainfall is one great example. We were really dry and He has solved that one, in a big way. I haven't checked the rain guage, but I am guessing around 5" or more in the past few days.
You've heard this before, but just in case you forgot...Monty doesn't enjoy this kind of weather. He's not a lounge around the house guy! He's a work hard to pay the bills guy and it's all outdoors for him.
For me, the rain brings back memories of following this creek out here on the ranch in my rubber boots to watch the water flow. It's almost 3am and I can hear it really coming down again, which makes me want to curl up under the covers and snuggle down for some great sleep. Good Idea....nighty night.

We operate a septic business, Roberts Construction Company, from home and also own/operate Shorty's Soda Shop in downtown Mabank, where my ancestors have lived and worked since the early 1900's.
